How GTC Works

Kea's Global Talent Centre (GTC) provides an online job and career service that links talented individuals with top-level job opportunities in New Zealand and around the world.

We've provided answers to questions people ask on a regular basis. If you can't find an answer to your question here, please contact us.

Who's eligible to register?

Registration is open to all professionals looking for roles with a salary of NZ$80,000 or above. This includes New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or foreign nationals qualified to work in New Zealand or for a New Zealand company overseas.

The benefits of registering with GTC are:

  • Exposure to premium job opportunities in New Zealand and around the world.
  • You choose your preferred method of contact: direct or indirect.
  • Companies can contact you about career opportunities.

How much does it cost?

Individual registration is free.

Kea Corporate members and partners are entitled to a number of complimentary job postings and network searches. Corporate Premium members are provided with unlimited searches of the database.

Employers and recruiters who are not Kea corporate members or partners will be charged:

  • $250 (ex GST) to place an advertisement on the Job Board.
  • $250 (ex GST) to complete a database search of the network.


Organisations that successfully place an individual in a role sourced from the GTC database are requested to pay a service fee of $1500.00. This contribution is essential in providing the GTC with the ability to provide enhancements to our capability and ensures our long term ability to provide an independent, high value service.

Do we have to be a Kea member to use this service?

Employers / recruiters do not have to be Kea Corporate registered individuals, but we encourage you to check out the benefits of joining Kea.

To use GTC services, you need to complete details about your business.

How do we advertise a job on GTC?

To advertise a position on GTC please email kea@search4jobs.co.nz Or phone + 64 9 373 9176 to speak with a booking agent who'll assist you to place your ad.

How do we complete a network search and contact registered individuals about a job?

To complete a search, you must first register your company and accept the GTC terms and conditions. Click here to register.

If your search returns a nil result, you won't be charged.

Search results show:

  1. Candidates who've given permission for direct contact (only their preferred methods of contact and information they've selected to appear will be visible).
  2. A 'grey area' indicating the number of individuals who've asked to be notified via GTC. These individuals will have selected one of the following:
    1. I am not interested in this opportunity
    2. I am interested and will contact the posting company directly
    3. I have referred this to someone else who might be interested.

Is GTC only for New Zealand based jobs?

No, GTC's role is to connect talented individuals with New Zealand companies that have local or international job opportunities they're looking to fill.

The job posting service is also available to non-New Zealand companies that have global opportunities of interest to registered individuals.

How will GTC handle confidentiality and any abuse of the network?

GTC is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of its registered individuals. When you register with GTC, you choose how you want to be contacted and what information is made available to others.

GTC stores your personal data electronically on hardware in New Zealand. This data is kept safe and secure using generally accepted standards of security supported by:

  • back-end reporting of usage
  • random auditing of employer/recruiter users
  • feedback from network registered individuals
  • immediate life bans for any breaches of confidentiality.
